Duke WooDen Toys had the Wood Workers Guild 001 build a wooden baby cradle for his first born, Prince GaMes. The Chief Craftsman at Wood Workers Guild 001 created a wonderful cozy wooden baby cradle for the new born Prince. 

Even though the Prince had a comfortable bed he did not sleep much and cried most of the time when awake.  

The Duchess implored the Chief Craftsman to redesign the baby cradle so that Prince GaMes would be more comfortable in his wooden cradle. The Chief Craftsman could not find any design problem with the wooden baby cradle, but in his travels he had seen a cradle hanging from a tree limb so the wind would swing the cradle.  

The Duchess could not hang her wooden baby cradle inside the castle, but if she could move the baby bed from side to side that might quiet GaMes. So the Chief Craftsman attached two barrel staves to the bottom of the baby bed which made the wooden cradle into a rocking cradle. Now the Duchess could rock Prince GaMes baby cradle which quickly put him to sleep and brought peace and quiet to the Dukes household. So the rocking cradle was added to the Wood Workers catalog of baby furniture.

The Duchess was so impressed with the redesigned baby cradle that she asked the Wood Workers Guild 001 to make a smaller version of the rocking cradle so that the young girls of the Dukedom could rock their dolls....and so the wooden doll cradle was created. The doll cradle was added to the Wood Workers Guild 001 production of doll furniture for the Christmas Wooden Toy Fair. Be sure to read this story to your daughter and feel free to add your comments along the way.
